A Diocesan priests are ordained to be ministers in the Church and to serve in a specific geographical area called a/n (arch) diocese.
They take a vow of obedience and a vow of celibacy to their Bishop and the Bishop’s successor in the (arch) diocese for the sake of
the kingdom of God. In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, they are at the service of the Bishop for any ministry. They are working as Personnel
in various sections of the Diocesan Curia, and are directly involved in administrating the parishes. They animate and lead various Diocesan
Commissions and Lay Associations, including Diocesan Educational Institutions Social Service wing of the Diocese, promotion of Small Christian
Communities and information of future priests.
